MISSION STATEMENT:

The mission of the Garden District Neighborhood, a voluntary group of members, is devoted to the improvement and maintenance of a desirable quality of life  for the residents and businesses of the Garden District. 

In order to accomplish our mission, we will:
 Promote resident and business involvement by increasing awareness.
 Be responsive to the service needs of the Garden District residents and businesses in a polite, professional and timely manner.
 Be the "eyes and ears" of law enforcement, reporting criminal activity and thus reducing crime.   Increase law enforcement presence and awareness by assisting with various activities sponsored by the police department.
Hold monthly meetings to serve as a forum for neighbors to communicate with each other and to  communicate with  various city departments regarding concerns and action plans.

Act as the project manager for the Garden District Neighborhood plan.

Our leaders are but Trusted Servants; They do Not Govern.
